"Always the Third Friday in July"

The Yarmouth Clam Festival takes place every summer, during the third weekend in July in the charming coastal village of Yarmouth, Maine. This summertime tradition draws visitors from all over the country who come to enjoy the music and arts, events and competition, and of course, the delicious food.

The Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce invites you to celebrate our 44 years of Village Tradition! Experience the flavor of Yarmouth’s community and history.

Each year hundreds of Yarmouth volunteers donate their time to the Festival to help raise money for our local non-profit organizations, school groups and churches. When you join in the fun, buy a t-shirt or eat a clam, you’re helping our community.

The Craft Show

A favorite part of the festival, our juried craft show on the North Yarmouth Academy lawn has a fine selection of jewelry, clothing, collectibles, pottery, wood carvings and other handcrafted items created by over 125 artisans for every price range.

The Art Show

Come to this eye-catching show and see work from some of the best artists in the state of Maine and region. Enjoy the show under three Maine State Champion Oak Trees, the largest known living members of each species in Maine.
